About Jennifer
Jennifer Robin Hyde is a ceramic artist based in Dedham, Massachusetts and a Ceramic Studio Artist (CSA) at Mother Brook Arts & Community Center. Inspired by the historic Mother Brook Canal and Dedham's storied pottery heritage, her stoneware work reflects a balance of tradition, craftsmanship, and modern utility.
By day, Jennifer works as a pediatrician — a career that shares more with ceramics than you might expect. Both require patience, steady hands, and close attention to the small details that make all the difference. The studio offers a different kind of care: quiet hours at the wheel, the meditative rhythm of shaping clay, and the satisfaction of creating something meant to be held and used.
When she's not in the clinic or the studio, Jennifer can usually be found at home with Stewie, her Bernedoodle, who serves as her unofficial studio supervisor (and chief nap-taker).
Every piece is handmade, one at a time.
